Honfleur

With its half-timbered houses, picturesque cobbled streets filled with art galleries, unusual churches, 17th-century salt warehouses, old docks and lively restaurants and shops, Honfleur is one of the most charming towns in Normandy. Originally it was an important trading port from which French merchants set sail to explore opportunities in North America, including Quebec.
